'Speed Networking' (like speed dating), you will actually participate

Learn about strategies to help market Your products or services to the top

Learn about strategies to help you effectively use the internet and social media to improve sales

Mark Maupin is a very successful full time professional internet marketer.  Mark not only makes a nice living for himself off of the internet, he also employs a number of other contractors in his internet businesses.  That's right, Mark has developed multiple internet businesses.  When I met Mark in 2006 I don't think he was making a dime off of the internet.  Over the last seven years he has developed businesses that provide a nice income for his family - and others - through him.  Mark is a very transparent and generous person.  One of the best that I've seen in terms of freely telling other people how to generate income.  If you're interested in taking your business to the next level using the internet, Mark alone would be worth coming out to see.

But he's not alone!,  we also have social media marketer, Versandra Kinnebrew.  Versandra has been in the social media trenches since 2004.  She is also an author.  Versandra recently exposed her marketing skills locally by helping to launch the new, explosively successful Whole Foods Market in Detroit.  For more information I have attached Versandra's bio.  This leads us to the third member of our panel of entrepreneurial marketers,  Chris Grindem.

Chris is the Executive Director of The Utmost Group, a metro Detroit-based branding, marketing and IMC firm aimed at serving the greater good.

Chris earned his BA and MBA in marketing at Michigan State University.

Over the past 30-plus years, he's worked with advertising agencies including Leo Burnett, Chicago, Doner, and JWT Detroit. Corporately, he worked in marketing with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and the Broad College of Business at MSU. And he's been an entrepreneur, helping found the Optimization Group, Ann Arbor, as well as The Utmost Group.

Chris has been awarded a Silver Effie, RAC Gold and WPP Atticus. In addition, he has published eight articles in the US and Europe, and spoken at more than 20 professional conferences in the US and Europe. Mark Maupin Coins The Term Online Business Optimization (OBO)

Mark Maupin Explains Difference Between Online Business Optimization (OBO) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Troy, MI --Mark Maupin is well known throughout the United State as an accomplished and respected Search Engine Optimization (SEO) expert. His company, Right Now Marketing, (http://rightnowmarketing.org/) offers such an all-encompassing range of services for his clients which differs markedly from run of the mill SEO firms, that he coined a new term to describe his internet marketing method. That term is Online Business Optimization (OBO). He recently spoke at Troy College and outlined how Online Business Optimization (OBO) differs from Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

"Online Business Optimization utilizes traditional as well as advanced SEO techniques simultaneously for multiple URL's while using the same primary key words. This results in total page domination for the client. The client's competitors are eliminated from consideration by page visitors. Whereas the focus of SEO is to place the client's website on the first page, the goal of OBO is to place many of the client's websites on the first page. Often eight out of the first ten spot in the search engine results point directly to the client," Maupin explained.
"Search results links take users to blogs, websites, videos, classifieds, press releases, Google Places, social media networks, articles and other strategic online destinations," he added.
